MasterCard Foundation Scholarship For International Students in US 2022/23

The MasterCard Foundation Scholarship For International Students in US 2022/23 is ongoing and MasterCard is accepting applications from Qualified Nigerian, African and International student.

The MasterCard Foundation has partnered with the United States International University-Africa (USIU-Africa) to offer a Scholarship Awards Program for students who are eligible and suited for the MasterCard Foundation Undergraduate and masters Scholarship Program.

In its global Scholars Program, the MasterCard Foundation collaborated with the United States International University-Africa (USIU-Africa).

Despite financial, gender, displacement, or handicap hurdles, this project will give academically brilliant kids from Africa with the opportunity to attend world-class colleges.

Full-tuition scholarships will be awarded to exceptional Africans applying for their first undergraduate degree through the MasterCard Foundation Program at USIU-Africa.

After completing their studies, scholars will be expected to lead reforms in their communities and contribute to substantial development across the continent, as they will be equipped with internationally recognized and respected credentials or qualifications.

Eligibility for the MasterCard Foundation Scholarship Awards Program

Youth not exceeding 29 years old in the following categories are eligible:

1. Young women

2. Young men

3. Refugees and displaced youth

4. Youth with disabilities

Qualified Students must posses the following qualities before applying:

1. Academic Ability

They must enjoy learning and be self-motivated to finish their education. Must meet the Kenya Commission for University Education’s or its equivalent university admissions requirements.

2. A commitment to giving back

Applicants should demonstrate a dedication to improve their communities by participating in community outreach activities in the past.

3. Leadership Possibilities

Scholars must demonstrate a desire to be change agents, role models, and mentors who practice ethical leadership.

Must be interested in, and meet USIU-admissions Africa’s standards and academic qualifications for, any of USIU-authorized Africa’s 11 undergraduate degree programs, as follows:

  1. Bachelor of Science in Applied Computer Technology and Bachelor of Science in Information Systems and Technology are both offered by the School of Science and Technology (SST).
  2. Bachelor of Pharmacy, Bachelor of Epidemiology and Biostatistics from the School of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (SPHS);
  3. Bachelor of Arts in Animation, Bachelor of Arts in Film Production and Directing from the School of Communication, Cinematic and Creative Arts (SCCCA);
  4. Bachelor of Science in Finance, Bachelor of Science in International Business Administration, and Bachelor of Science in Accounting are all offered at the Chandaria School of Business (CSOB).
  5. Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the School of Humanities and Social Sciences (SHSS).

According to Mastercard, the Scholars Program is implemented through our partner universities and non-governmental organizations.

The application process and decision-making are managed individually by each partner. If you are interested in becoming a Scholar, you must apply through the university of your choice.

Partner institutions have their own deadlines and admission fees. We recommend that you research the application guidelines or contact the institution of your choice for more information.

For schools that require application fees as part of the admissions process, the fees will be reimbursed if the student is selected for the Scholars Program.
