The Government of Ireland Postgraduate Scholarship Program is extremely competitive, as seen by its 18% success record over the last five years. Successful program participants are recognized for having the exceptional potential to become future research leaders.
About The Scholarship
The Council is in charge of the Government of Ireland Postgraduate Scholarship Programme, a reputable national initiative supported by the Department of Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation, and Science.
Other financing alternatives for postgraduate education in Ireland are distinct from and complement the Government of Ireland Postgraduate Scholarship Program. It has the following qualities:
• Special, prestigious awards granted to the candidate for exceptional research;
• A fair selection process that includes independent, international expert peer assessment;
• funding for all academic disciplines, including zoology and archaeology; and
• Grants for bottom-up, non-directed research, excluding projects backed by our strategic funding partners.
We welcome articles that investigate novel, emerging fields of research or that offer novel, innovative concepts. The growth of fundamental understanding can be facilitated by merging the information, approaches, and perspectives of two or more fields, hence interdisciplinary suggestions are also encouraged.
