THE LANZATE SCHOLARSHIP FOR HISPANIC STUDENTS

‘Lánzate! Take Off!’ 18th Annual Southwest Airlines and the Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities (HACU) are the sponsors of the Higher Education Travel Scholarship Program.

SCHOLARSHIP SPONSOR

HISPANIC ASSOCIATION OF COLLEGE AND UNIVERSITIES

More than 500 colleges and universities in the United States, Latin America, Spain, and school districts across the country are represented by the Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities, which was established in 1986. The only organization in the country that represents institutions that serve Hispanic students is HACU (HSIs). The Association’s main office is in San Antonio, Texas, and it also has regional offices in Sacramento and Washington, D.C.

HACU and Southwest Airlines will award flight e-passes through this national education initiative to currently enroll undergraduate and graduate students nationwide who travel away from home to seek higher education and who meet the eligibility requirements specified below.

The prize winners will be chosen by a committee made up of community and national education supporters. 8 (eight) one-way Southwest Airlines flight e-passes will be given to the winners, which they can use to get to and from the institution or university.
