How To Apply

Eligible students can apply for scholarships using the Bond University Scholarship Application Form after submitting the Bond University Study Application Form. Simply put “scholarship” in the keyword area on the Start an Application tab using the same log-in information you used for your study application.

We advise students to submit applications for all available scholarships. Only the scholarships for which a student has applied will be taken into consideration.

Before the application deadline, students must complete and submit their scholarship application. Late scholarship applications won’t be taken into consideration. It is crucial to submit your scholarship application by the earliest deadline if you are applying for multiple scholarships, each of which has a separate deadline.

The following papers must be included with your scholarship application if you’re applying for one:

  • A school reference (if you are presently enrolled in your senior year of high school, we will follow up with your Career Advisor directly to request a reference; you will be required to supply their contact information as part of the scholarship application process);
  • Evidence of your innovation, leadership, and community involvement, together with two references. Please offer this proof using the Summary of Achievements template (for undergraduate applicants); OR
  • A motivational essay describing why you are applying for the scholarship (for postgraduate applicants).

All Transformer Scholarship candidates must also submit a brief video pitch about themselves in which they succinctly and convincingly respond to the following questions:

  • What’s the issue? What issue would you wish to investigate as a Transformer participant? Why is it crucial? Why hasn’t the issue been fixed yet? What other options, if any, do you have?
  • You, why? Why are you the ideal candidate to tackle this issue? What personal traits and life experiences do you believe you have that are relevant to taking on the project you’ve proposed? Why would people want to collaborate on this project with you? What motivated you to travel to Bond and take part in the Transformer?

Videos must be posted to YouTube in order to be viewed online and should not exceed three minutes in duration. Make sure the URL you offer for your video in the application’s space is accurate. Videos beyond three minutes won’t be taken into consideration.
